THEFT

1Two unknown suspects stole 32 bags of Diamond Crystal Winter Melt Rock salt, valued at $224, at C-Store, N48 W18028 Lisbon Road, between 1:43 and 1:46 a.m. Jan. 23. Police viewed video surveillance from the business showing the two suspects loading the salt into a white van before driving east on Lisbon Road.

2An unknown male suspect stole a carton of cigarettes after his credit card was denied at Walgreens, N83 W15701 Appleton Ave., at 1:24 a.m. Jan. 23. The suspect fled northbound on Pilgrim Road in a white, four-door vehicle.

3Three hard-wired driveway lights were taken and one was damaged at a residence in the W145 N7400 block of Northwood Drive between 8 p.m. Jan. 19 and 10:30 a.m. Jan. 21. The homeowner also found a damaged solar driveway light on his property that didn't belong to him, apparently left behind by the suspects.

4A street sign at the corner of Cherry Lane and Longwood Street was taken sometime between 5 p.m. Jan. 20 and 8:30 a.m. Jan. 23. Department of Public Works superintendent advised police this was the second time in recent years the Cherry-Longwood sign has been stolen.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

5A 20-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving after an officer pulled him over for driving approximately 75-mph in a 30-mph zone at Main Street and Pilgrim Road at 4:02 a.m. Jan. 22. The suspect admitted drinking shots of vodka before his arrest. His blood alcohol content was 0.15.

VANDALISM

6The words "Hoodrat Richie" and an obscene phrase were spray-painted in black paint on the Union Pacific Railroad bridge at Main Street and Town Line Road between 7:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Jan. 21.

OTHER

7An unknown subject shot a projectile, possibly a .22-caliber round, into a house in the N92 W17000 block of Roger Avenue sometime between 8 a.m. Jan. 9 and 6 p.m. Jan. 22. The bullet went through the front of the house, through the siding and drywall, and landed in a closed door to a room in the center of the house. A canvass of the neighborhood provided no leads.

Menomonee Falls police responded to three domestic violence calls between Jan. 19 and Jan. 26.
