Hit-and-run driver charged with drunken driving
Germantown - A 34-year-old Germantown woman was charged with drunken driving after she fled the scene of an accident during the early morning hours of Jan. 21.
According to the police report:
A 27-year-old Slinger man called 911 after a car driving southbound on Pilgrim Road crossed the centerline and struck his truck head-on shortly before 3 a.m. Jan. 21. After the offending driver fled the scene without attempting to exchange information, the victim followed the vehicle to Daniels Drive where the suspect was apprehended by officers.
The suspect was transported to Community Memorial Hospital by Germantown Rescue and subsequently taken into custody. The suspect's blood alcohol content was unavailable at the time of the report.
