Blamer, 60 years

William and Rose Blamer of Menomonee Falls are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary Nov. 5, 2011, at Cannon Park in Wauwatosa.

The couple married Nov. 3, 1951.

Children of the couple are Duane and Carla Blamer of Auburn, Calif., Robin Therese of Green Bay, Christine Blamer-Pineville of North Carolina, Mary Svitavsky of Neenah, John and Cindy Blamer of Brookfield, Jane and Roy Buckenberger of Almond, Greg and Connie Blamer of Saukville, Brenda and Don Johnson of West Allis, and Steve and Kim Blamer of Troy, Mo.

Grandchildren are Greg, Jessica, C.J., Luscia, Kimberly, Kathryn, Stevan, Jacob, Valerie, Lukas, Kaitlyn, Heather, Tiffany, Kevin, Sam, Paul, Kiley, Benjamin and Madeline.

William was owner of Blamer's Auto Repair for 45 years. He has been semi-retired for 15 years.

Rose was mother, housewife and homemaker for 60 years.

The children observed that, through 60 years of love, devotion and dedication, "you brought nine children and 19 grandchildren into this world, making it a warmer and sweeter place to live. We have been, and still are, truly blessed with your presence in our lives. We love you, Mom and Dad."
